Sweet Dreams Contoured Sleep Mask Review
I work midnights and just can’t fall asleep if the room I’m in isn’t dark. I’ve bought so many sleep mask but none of them were quite right. Either the material didn’t block out the light or they didn’t fit close enough and stay in place well enough to keep the light out. Until now, I’m thankful to say. The Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask fits perfectly without being confining. It’s comfortable, light weight and cool and it’s even contoured so that you can open your eyes unabstructed which allows for better REM sleep I’m told. I love it and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Planning a trip to the UK, I researched many different sleep masks to use on my flights. I liked what I read about Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask and gave it a try. Boy, I was not disappointed! It is really soft and it blocked out the light COMPLETELY. Sleeping on a plane is never an easy task, but I slept very well since I was completely in the dark. Upon arriving at my destination I had absolutely no jet lag and I believe it was purely because by using Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask I was able to sleep and get on the right time zone. One complaint is the band going around your head to hold it in place is a bit long for a small head. Since it has velcro I was able to make it work though. While it is excellent for travel, I wouldn’t recommend it for home use if you are a side sleeper because it doesn’t stay in place very well then. If your in the market for one definately give this a try!

First off, note that this is the exact same product as the lights out sleep mask. I’ve tried both and the only difference is the packaging. On the plus side I believe this item also comes with cheap foam ear plugs and is at least temporarily a bit cheaper than the lights out mask. In terms of functionality this works fairly well. It does let in a bit of light at the bottom for me but its not enough to be an issue. However, I will say that I’ve found that simply using a soft black shirt works better than any sleep mask in that it it’s more comfortable than having straps that can shift as you move during sleep. The shirt also works better to keep light out in that you have more surface area to work with. I also question the usefulness of having empty space in front of your eyes. It didn’t improve the sleep experience for me after several nights of trying this and other identical masks.

This is my favorite sleep mask. I also own another (see my other reviews). The other mask may block a tiny bit more light near the nose, but this one can be lowered to do nearly as well and it is so lightweight that my face doesn’t notice it as much. There is a coolness to its thinner fabric which I prefer and hence I use it occasionally now at home since I’ve returned from my big trip to Europe. The cost is not excessive, it blocks light well (I suppose you’d have to adjust it against a slit of light near the lower end if you wore it in broad daylight) and the comfort is high. Personally, I don’t wear a mask in broad daylight. Ha! We do have an annoying streetlight outside our window, though, and on warm nights with the room-darkening shades up a bit for fresh air, this mask performs well.

My snoring was so bad my wife states that the house would shake. I couldn’t sleep with my wife as of late in order for her to get some proper sleep. I had scheduled a sleep study but knew that I would never use a CPAP machine if I were diagnosed with sleep apnea. First of all, I was VERY put off by the Product Description and the various reviews, which have clearly been written by the same person, and that is why I’ve rated this four stars, as there is obviously some sort of deceptive advertising here. I couldn’t figure out how to report this as abuse to Amazon, though. BUT this cost less than half the price of some of the more advertised anti-snore devices (like Pure Sleep), so I decided to order it, since my significant other and I had some harsh words about my snoring, and I wanted to keep peace and try to find a solution. This device has been mostly effective in halting my snoring. My boyfriend had been using earplugs – apparently I’m loud – and he said he hasn’t had to use them when I have this Anti-Snore device in place. A few times I’ve had to re-adjust it because apparently it slips a bit; sometimes he’s awakened me to ask if I’m using it because it doesn’t always stop the snoring. I re-adjust it and then it works.
